Introduction:

Elon Musk was investigated by the Tesla Board for his “Project 42” idea to build a gigantic glass MANSION near the Austin gigafactory. That would resemble a “twisted hexagon” or Apple’s iconic Fifth Avenue store.

According to a new report, Tesla board members covertly looked into whether CEO Elon Musk. Misappropriated corporate funds in a project to construct a glass-walled residence close to the company’s Texas headquarters.

The ‘Project 42’ designs, envisioned a striking glass-walled structure close to Tesla’s gigafactory. In Austin and were referred to within the firm as Musk’s mansion, were revealed by the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday.

According to persons with knowledge of the situation. Tesla board members looked into if corporate resources had been wasted after receiving them. An order for specialized glass valued at millions of dollars. They also looked into whether Musk had any involvement.

The building’s plans varied over time, but at least some of the renderings appeared. To show a residential component with bedrooms, bathrooms, and a kitchen, according to the people.

According to the source, one drawing pictured the structure as a glass cube akin to the Apple Store on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. While another depicted it as a ‘twisted hexagon’ adjacent to a body of water with the Tesla factory in the background.

Other images showed a waterfall as a feature of the landscape, and some Tesla staff members theorized. That the project would also include a museum of some type. 

Insiders with Telsa claimed they were unsure of the project’s status or the outcome of the board probe. Because the dispute building has not yet been built. 

The board of Tesla and Musk did not react to the Journal’s request for comment, and DailyMail.com was unable to immediately reach them. Tesla does not have a press office and does not react to press queries.

The secret project appears to have started at least a year ago. When Bloomberg reported that Tesla’s board was looking into a significant purchase of an expensive, specialized glass.

According to Bloomberg, the internal probe began when the glass was purchase. The order was reported to Tesla’s finance and internal audit departments.

The glass was difficult to obtain due to a global supply chain issue, but the company’s status as a ‘global manufacturing powerhouse’. Made it easier to secure high-demand construction materials. 

The board investigation is said to have focused on whether Tesla personnel in Musk’s inner circle. Used the company’s clout to procure the glass for a project that was ultimately for his personal use.

According to reports, Musk has a small house in Boca Chica, Texas. Not far from SpaceX’s launch pad, which he founded and controls.

 According to a source, Elon Musk was subjecte to a Tesla board investigation over his plans for a glass mansion.
